Buena Vista

This project entails the design and construction of a new kitchen facility in Joyabaj, Guatemala, with the objective of providing a safe, durable, and functional environment for students and staff. The scope integrates structural, architectural, plumbing, and electrical systems, each developed in compliance with both international engineering standards and Guatemalan Ministry of Education requirements. Particular emphasis is placed on resilience against seismic and wind forces, as well as on creating adequate classroom, kitchen, and circulation spaces to support effective learning and daily operations. Overall, the project represents a coordinated effort to deliver a code-compliant, sustainable, and community-focused kitchen that will serve the region for many years.
